The lovely paper magic bundle of colour garden

Working alongside young people with learning disabilities in secondary schools in London and Manchester, we explore current environmental concerns through art making.

We have made collaborative bird feeder sculptures out of recycled plastic bottles, seed bombs with seasonal flowers that attract friendly pollinators, we have collected scrap pare from the school waste and turned it into recycled paper for drawing and painting, we have used flowers and foraged berries to learn about botanical pigments and dye textiles with them, made biodegradable stamps, pressed flower art, mud art and more.

The purpose of these workshops is to make younger generations aware of climate emergency and to encourage them to take action by getting actively involved.
